The Lodge at Pebble Beach

Overlooking arguably the most prestigious closing hole in golf, staying at the Lodge at Pebble Beach completes an avid golfer’s dream vacation. Open since 1919, the Lodge at Pebble Beach has a combined 199 rooms and suites filled with luxury, beauty, and anything a person could hope for, making it a trip of a lifetime.

In addition, one can enjoy Fairway One cottages designed to be a fantasy home away from home. Every cottage has a spacious 1000 square foot living room, great for group gatherings, two big-screen TVs, as well as a bar, full bathroom, and an outdoor patio with a fire pit. Complimentary breakfast is included with reservation.

Guest rooms and suites are available ranging from 475 to 695 square feet and include an outdoor patio, stone-faced gas burning fireplaces, queen and/or king-sized beds, views of Stillwater Cove, or the 18th fairway.

If you wish to relax in the luxurious Garden Spa rooms and Deluxe Ocean View Suites, which range in size from 900 to 1300 square feet, you may do so with rates ranging from $2580 to $3100 per night.

All rooms come with complimentary wireless internet, 55-inch television, 24 hour-room service, dining room table to accompany up to eight people (depending on the room), two fireplaces, and two full bathrooms. There will be an in-room coffee maker with choices of the best coffee and tea, as well as iron and ironing board, bathrobes for guests, and safe to keep your valuables.

Guest benefits and privileges include complimentary shuttles to take you between the courses and resorts, a Lexus that can be reserved for two hours, or simply relax as a passenger in a Lexus Guest Transportation vehicle.

All golf reservations can be made 18 months ahead of time, and the Spanish Bay Club and Beach and Tennis Club are available for those that enjoy other sporting activities.

If you find that you have business needs to handle, the Business Services Center at the lodge provides printing, faxing, copying, laptop rentals and connections, and much more.

Dining at the lodge

Take your pick from a wide variety of top-notch cuisine from one of seven unique restaurants with diverse menus to include steak, seafood, Hawaiian dishes, Italian, and specialty wood-fired dishes to name a few.

The Dining Room includes seasonal favorites, an exquisite wine list with a fantastic ocean view for a memorable experience. If you’re looking for an excellent lunch experience, The Beach Club Dining Room provides a diverse menu of appetizers, salads, and lunch plates. Among the most popular dishes include Seafood Louie, Grilled Rib Eye & Scampi-Style Prawns, and BC Fish & Chips with Anchovy Mayonnaise.

Looking to shop for souvenirs, art, jewelry, children’s items, photography, golf equipment, and apparel? Then the shops at The Lodge are perfect for you! Numerous shops with a wide selection of high-quality products.

The Beach & Tennis Club

Is there more to you than just golf… or maybe you’d like to try something new? Check out The Beach & Tennis Club located at Stillwater Cove on the Monterey Peninsula in Pebble Beach. A short walk from The Lodge at Pebble Beach, this social and recreational club overlooks the 17th hole at Pebble Beach Golf Links and dates back 90 years! If those walls could talk!

The Beach & Tennis Club boasts fitness classes, tennis, swimming, and fine dining. Members gain special discounts, member-only programs, and other events. The Tennis Pavilion at the club features 12 championship quality courts, a clubhouse, tournaments, and lessons to improve your game.

Sightseeing and Other Activities

While golf is the major attraction to Pebble Beach, be sure to take time to enjoy the majestic views of the area. A relaxing trail ride through the Del Monte Forest is a must. Enjoy a scenic drive? Then touring the 17-Mile Drive is for you. Check out the tranquil Pacific Grove, Camel-by-the-Sea, the beautiful simplicity of Camel Valley, Monterey Bay, and the Big Sur. One trip to this beautiful area and you’ll see why more than 3 million people visit annually.

For those that enjoy horseback riding, Pebble Beach Equestrian Center provides a great experience. Trek through more than 27 miles of marked trails in the Del Monte Forest. There is a vast variety of tours held daily by professional and courteous guides. Lessons are available privately or in a group setting, and you can even bring your own horse. In addition, your horse can be groomed, boarded, and even trained at the facility.

The Pebble Beach Pilgrimage: The Inn at Spanish Bay

Located among the pine forest of the Monterey with a golf course resembling the link-style courses in Scotland and a great view of the coast, and The Inn at Spanish Bay provides a one-of-a-kind relaxing retreat.

With 269 rooms and guest suites, the Inn at Spanish Bay has something for everyone. All guest rooms come with a fireplace, and are furnished with style and comfort in mind. Many of the rooms also have a breathtaking balcony view of the forest, the Pacific Ocean, or the pristinely landscaped grounds. Modern, luxurious bathrooms, flat-screen tvs, and complimentary Wi-Fi will all add to the enjoyment of your truly epic vacation.

All Inn Public Areas are accessible, which includes the patios, spas, pools, fire pits, main lobby, meeting rooms, and more. The Resort Retail areas are also accessible, which includes guest service counters and fitting rooms. The parking areas have marked spaces and walkways. All dining facilities are accessible as well golf courses and pool lifts.

Each guest room features a minimum of 470 square feet, providing plenty of room to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of the area. Each room has two queens or a king-sized bed, fireplace, bay-window seating or Palladian window, outdoor patio or with rates ranging from $860 to $1290 per night.

For increased luxury, choose from 700, 750, 1600 or 1650 square feet of space in the refined suites. Included range from large-screen TVs, double bathrooms, four- to ten-person dining room tables, guest baths, private patios, and conference rooms. Rates for these rooms range from $1680 to $3790 per night.

In addition, all rooms are equipped with complimentary wireless internet, 24-hour room service, two plush bathrobes, in-room coffee maker, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, and a safe to store all of your valuables (but not your favorite putter — sorry!).

Guests at the Inn at Spanish Bay receive courtesy transportation via shuttles to take you to and from courses and between the three resorts. Guests can also rent a Lexus, and have access to The Spanish Bay Club, The Beach & Tennis Club, golf privileges, concierge services, and use of the business services center.

On the property at The Inn at Spanish Bay, choose one of three diverse restaurants to enjoy a meal ranging from pub far, Italian cuisine to Hawaiian-fusion. Enjoy a fine wine? Be sure to check out the Stave Wine Cellar. The most recently added venue at The Inn allows visitors to purchase wines by the bottle or glass, as well as partake in a small-plate menu. Need to shop for unique gifts for friends or family, everyday needs, or tennis accessories? Shop at the Inn Retail Arcade for all the best in one convenient location.

Perhaps the most unique experience of all is enjoying the sounds of the Spanish Bay Bagpiper every night. Beginning at the first tee, the bagpiper plays, finishing three-quarters of an hour later at the fire pits adjacent to the second green. This unique Scottish tradition has been taking place since the opening of The Inn.

The Pebble Beach Pilgrimage: Casa Palmero

This intimate Mediterranean-style estate is located below the first and second holes at Pebble Beach Golf Links boasts 24 private rooms. Entering the main house, you’ll encounter an elegant living room as well as a library and billiard room. You can relax by the outdoor pool with some drinks from the generously sized lounge and bar.

Golfers can enjoy a round at any of the courses at the resort, then take in a great meal ranging anywhere from seafood, steak, Hawaiian, Italian, pub far, small plates, vintage wine, and a variety of other options.

The private Beach & Tennis Club is accessible and when finished on the course or tennis courts, enjoy time at the award-winning spa. Every morning guests will receive breakfast baskets and every evening, complimentary cocktails are served.

Rooms are available from 585, 700, 830, and 1260 square feet ranging in price from $1130 to $3600 per night. Rooms will include some, if not all of the following, depending on the size and price: open wood-beam ceilings, two queen beds or single king bed, gas-burning fireplace, large window set, luxurious bathroom with huge soaking tub, enclosed patio entrance with table seating, private bedroom with seating area, living area with entertainment seating, and private whirlpool spa and outdoor courtyard with lounge seating.

All Casa Palmero Public Areas are accessible, including guest check-ins, meeting rooms, patios, and main lobby. Retail venues are accessible which include guest service counters and fitting rooms. The travel walkways in the parking lots are clearly marked, as well as the parking areas. All golf courses are accessible including the use of golf carts, as well as all pools and hot tubs.

Get your swing in order at this amazing, technologically state-of-the-art facility which includes a large driving range and new practice areas. Those that wish to become a member receive complete access to the Pebble Beach Golf Links driving range, Spyglass Hill Course driving range, as well as the chipping and putting practice areas. In addition, members receive five guest passes and a 10% discount on all store purchases (including golf clubs). The rates for membership are $1850 per year and $800 for a spouse or any child under the age of 21.

Three separate studios are available for professional instruction. At studio one, you will receive a full swing analysis using the most modern technology in golf improvement. Professionals can record and view a video to analyze your swing, pointing out flaws and provide methods to improve your swing. The technology used at this studio includes robotic swing trainers, advanced motion measurement 3D swing analysis system, and V1 video swing analysis.

Studio two features putting stroke analysis technology. Training systems, measurements, and analysis of the putting stroke will all help improve your feel and results on the green. The technology used includes science and motion PuttLab, and V1 video analysis.

Studio three is all about club fitting. The system by TaylorMade will help professionals find the exact equipment that will provide the best results for your game. Accurate measurements are taken of your club-head speed and ball speed. The system will test clubs on several components and data from the system will determine the proper-fitting drivers and irons for your unique swing.

The academy can help anyone become a better player in many ways by utilizing the best learning and training technology. Expert instruction and the incorporation of a wide array of tools will help you get the most out of your game. The academy also proudly hosts many golf schools over the course of the year.
