Across the year you can expect a combination of name-brand golf apparel, golf-themed graphic tees, name-brand golf balls, the latest in golf gear and accessories, and custom-made health and beauty items chosen from independent, woman-owned businesses.

No two boxes are the same. That is the point of it: the pleasure of a subscription box is the opening, and a predictable box is just a slower way of shopping.

Tee Box "Light" for accessories only

Some golfers love the idea of a subscription but have no need for more apparel — the wardrobe is full, the sizing is particular, or the clothes simply are not the interesting part. The Tee Box "Light" answers that. Each month it contains the same fun accessories as the full Tee Box, without the clothing.

A Light box will include items such as golf balls, golf towels, zip bags, shoe bags, golf tees, ball markers, practice tools, and the same carefully chosen health and beauty items from independent, woman-owned businesses. If you are buying for someone whose size you do not know, Light removes the only real risk in gifting a subscription.

Choosing your subscription length

The standard Tee Box is a one-month renewing subscription that renews automatically for the period you choose. We also offer three-month and six-month subscriptions, and the choice between them is really a choice about who the box is for.

If you are subscribing for yourself, the rolling monthly option is the most flexible. If you are buying it as a gift, a defined three- or six-month run is usually the better choice — the recipient gets a clear, generous present with a known end point, and there is no awkwardness about who is paying for month seven.

Six months covers most of a playing season in a temperate climate, which makes it a strong choice for a birthday early in the year. Three months works well as a Christmas gift that carries someone through the off-season and into spring.

Buying a Tee Box as a gift

Two practical details make the difference between a gift that lands and one that goes astray. Second, remember that the subscription renews automatically after the period you choose, so decide in advance whether you intend it to continue.

When boxes ship

Tee Boxes ship during the first week of every month. Boxes purchased after the fifteenth of the month will ship as part of the following month's subscription, so if you are buying for a specific date it is worth ordering early in the month rather than late. Tracking is sent as soon as it is available. Why a subscription rather than a one-off gift

There is a reason subscription boxes have held their popularity in golf specifically. Golf equipment and apparel are both areas where the good stuff is easy to miss — small brands do not get shelf space, and the big retailers stock what sells in volume. A curated box is a filter. Somebody who spends their working life looking at women's golf products decides what goes in, which means you see things you would not have found by searching.

The second reason is pacing. A single large gift is enjoyed once. A subscription creates a small event every month, usually at exactly the point in the season when motivation dips. Plenty of our subscribers describe the box arriving as the thing that got them back out to the range in February.

That means a box may contain one substantial piece of apparel and several smaller items, or no apparel at all and a broader spread of accessories and treats — it depends on what is genuinely good that month. We would rather send something you will reach for every round than pad a box to look fuller.

The independent and woman-owned brands we include are a deliberate part of that. They are the makers who do not get shelf space at large retailers, and they are consistently the items subscribers write to us about.
